Second edition (2023) by Giovanna Sapori and Bruno Toscano, with the support of the Marignoli di Montecorona Foundation and the Carispo Foundation. 

The criteria which informed the new edition can be summarized as follows: more news, more reviews, more documentation. It is therefore an ‘austere’ proposal of local literature, certainly lost in the overflowing spread of city guides, more and more populated with illustrations and less and less text.

In this edition the book differs from the “Guides” category. The subtitle «Per conoscere la città» is an invitation to a not superficial knowledge. Governing without knowing has already done so much damage to our country, at all institutional levels.

If, therefore, someone called this book a “public service” it would be the most coveted recognition for which he spent his time.
